Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Pianosa Labs LLC (“Pianosa Labs,” “we,” “us”) for your use of TripLedger. By creating an account or using TripLedger, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

Who may use TripLedger

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. TripLedger is designed primarily for personal and household use. If you use it for a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

Your account and ledger

Keep your credentials secure and provide accurate account information. A ledger may be shared with invited members and may contain records for several travelers. The owner controls billing, membership, and ledger deletion. Editors can change ledger data; viewers have read-only access. You are responsible for the people you invite and for having permission to add another person’s information.

The service

TripLedger stores travel records and produces calculations and summaries from the data you enter. We may add, change, or discontinue features as the product develops. We do not guarantee that any particular feature, integration, residency rule, or third-party service will remain available forever. We will avoid materially reducing paid functionality without good reason, but a lifetime Pro purchase does not freeze the product at the date of purchase.

Free and Pro

Free access includes the features shown in the service at the time. Pro is a one-time US$97 purchase for one ledger. Unless checkout states otherwise, that price includes applicable indirect taxes. Pro lasts for the life of TripLedger: while Pianosa Labs continues operating TripLedger and the purchased ledger remains open. It is not a promise that TripLedger will operate for your lifetime or for any minimum period.

The current daily MCP allowance is 100 requests for Free and 5,000 requests for Pro, shared across credentials connected to the ledger. Other technical, person, or member limits may appear in the service. We may change reasonable limits to protect reliability, control abuse or cost, or reflect product changes. A purchase is not transferable to a new ledger after the purchased ledger is deleted.

Refunds

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@tripledger.app. Before we process it, export anything you want to keep. Refunds are reviewed and processed separately from self-service deletion. After a full refund is confirmed, we permanently delete the purchased ledger and its owner account rather than converting it into a Free ledger. Deleting an account in Settings does not request or issue a refund. We also provide refunds and cancellation rights required by applicable consumer law. Nothing here limits a mandatory right that cannot legally be waived.

Your data

You retain ownership of information you add. You give Pianosa Labs a limited license to host, process, copy, and display it only as needed to provide, secure, and improve TripLedger. Export data before deleting a ledger. Deletion is permanent once confirmed, except for limited records or backup copies retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• use TripLedger unlawfully or violate another person’s rights;
• access data or accounts without authorization;
• probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, or bypass security, quotas, or access controls;
• use credentials in a way that exposes a shared ledger to unauthorized people;
• introduce malicious code or interfere with TripLedger or its providers; or
• resell TripLedger or represent that Pianosa Labs endorses your services without permission.

Not professional advice

TripLedger is a personal recordkeeping and calculation tool. It does not provide tax, legal, accounting, immigration, visa, or financial advice. Laws and personal circumstances vary, source data may be incomplete, and calculations can be wrong. Verify important decisions with official sources and a qualified professional. You remain responsible for filings, travel permissions, deadlines, and decisions made using TripLedger.

Third-party services

TripLedger relies on third-party hosting, database, payment, email, analytics, security, and AI-client services. Their availability and separate terms are outside our control. MCP clients and other tools you connect can read or change ledger data within the permissions you grant. Review those permissions and revoke access you no longer want.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using TripLedger and permanently delete your account and owned ledger in Settings. We may limit, deactivate, or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful activity, security risk, nonpayment, abusive usage, or conduct that threatens TripLedger or others. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for security or legal reasons.

We may discontinue TripLedger. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to export data. Continued operation, advance notice, and refunds are not guaranteed except where required by law.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TripLedger is provided “as is” and “as available.” Pianosa Labs disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that calculations, reference rules, exports, or third-party integrations are complete or error-free. Mandatory consumer warranties remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pianosa Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, tax liabilities, immigration consequences, or lost data. Our total liability arising from TripLedger will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us for the affected ledger. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

Wyoming law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes must be brought in the state or federal courts serving Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless mandatory consumer law allows you to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, contact us and allow 30 days to try to resolve it informally.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as TripLedger changes. We will update the effective date and notify account holders by email or in the service when a material change affects existing use. Continuing after the new Terms take effect means you accept them; where law requires fresh consent, we will ask for it.

General

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of TripLedger.
